Hendy Group new sales manager Tom Mann has successfully completed the Hendy Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon – raising funds for Hendy Foundation in the process.
“I have always seen running as something I would not be able to do very well! I wanted to challenge myself and to have a goal to get physically fitter. In July 2023 I decided I would start running and commit to complete the 2024 Hendy Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon,” said Tom.
His training included at least three runs a week and Tom completed the run in 02:05:55. He has already smashed his fundraising target with more than £600 heading for good causes supported by Hendy Foundation.
“I wanted to raise money for the Hendy Foundation as it supports so many amazing charities and causes,” added Tom. “It is great that the company you work for also wants to give back to the local community. I am delighted with how much support and donations I have already received.”
