Baby Necessities is a non-profit baby bank located in southern Hampshire, providing essential baby items, both new and pre-loved, to families in need.
Founded by two local mums in 2020, their mission focuses on child poverty alleviation and promotes the reuse of baby essentials through the simple act of redistribution, ensuring that every baby has the essentials they need while reducing waste and protecting the environment.
Collecting high-quality, pre-loved baby and toddler essentials – clothing, toys, and equipment – they distribute them to families in need across Southampton and the surrounding areas. Every donated item is cleaned, safety-checked where necessary, and carefully packed into bundles by dedicated volunteers.
