Rebecca Hendy

Rebecca is one of the founding trustees of Hendy Foundation, having been inspired by the desire to work closely with the local community, which has been an important part of her family for six generations. Rebecca works for Hendy Group while also running her own marketing consultancy business in Dorset. She is no stranger to fundraising in the community, having been involved in school fundraising committees. In the last 10 years she has also taken part in events such as Race for Life and climbed Ben Nevis to raise money for cancer charities.

Mark Busby

Mark is Commercial Director of Hendy Group and a founding trustee of Hendy Foundation. Launching the foundation has been a key goal for Mark who is passionate about supporting the local communities in which Hendy Group operates. Mark’s role in the group has seen him involved in a wide range of charity and community efforts across the region and has seen first hand the benefits of these partnerships. It is the clear benefits that drive Mark to continue helping the local community, and his role will include working closely with the Hendy business and the involvement of staff.

Alyson Marlow profile image

Alyson Marlow

Alyson heads up one of the south’s leading PR agencies and has vast experience in the motoring, business and charity sectors. She has worked with Hendy Group for more than 15 years and was previously a motoring and business journalist in the south. Alyson was a committee member and patron of motoring charity WOMAC for many years and has been involved in promoting charity efforts as diverse as cycle challenges, healthy living campaigns and national sporting challenges.

Craig Southin

Craig’s enthusiasm to support local charities and his experience as a public sector accountant for more than 30 years put him in an ideal position to be a Trustee of Hendy Foundation. Craig brings tremendous professional skills to the board of Trustees, and is committed to ensuring the Foundation follows its objectives to make a difference to people’s lives. And he is no stranger to fundraising himself – he rode the 100-mile Great Dorset Bike Ride and has regularly supported the ‘Movember’ campaign by growing a moustache. He has also been a school governor and honorary treasurer of a local sailing club.
