The charity is made up of volunteers trained and dispatched by the South East Coast Ambulance Service to provide a First Response to 999 emergency calls that are close to where they live or work. Its role is to manage the situation until the paramedics arrive and then the volunteers form part of the team under their direction.
Our grant was used to purchase three defibrillators and new jackets for the team.
