Face Everything and Rise (FEAR) aims to support, educate and provide information, to those living on artificial nutrition (or individuals receiving treatment via a central line). A grant from Hendy Foundation has helped the charity with a specific project to help more children and adults in Hampshire enjoy swimming by using special drysuits which keep their central lines dry.
Central lines are not allowed to get wet at all, because of the high risk of infection, leading to sepsis.
