The charity was set up in 2018 in memory of Evid Clover who was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just 13 years old. She underway four major operations and was cared for in hospital before spending her final weeks at home. Her parents witnessed first-hand many other frightened and tired parents who were forced to sleep in hospital chairs or their cars because they couldn’t afford to stay in local hotels. So when Evie died her parents decided to tackle this problem by setting up Evie’s Gift.
