Friends of Stour Connect was set up in 2018 by local people to alleviate social isolation in the local community and in particular by older people/people with additional needs. It now provides services/projects from ages 8 to 96 years old and see some 260 beneficiaries weekly. A grant for a commercial dishwasher has helped the charity set up a second lunch club.
