My Sister’s House believes that no woman should experience abuse, poverty, mental illness or other disadvantages without the support that will help them to live healthy lives and realise their full potential.
Their goal is to foster independence, resilience, and empowerment in women, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. They provide networking opportunities to reduce isolation, peer support groups for shared challenges like domestic abuse, confidence building or living well.
Safe spaces provide a welcoming environment where women can connect, share experiences, and receive support without judgment, whilst providing a drop-in space for women in crisis.
Support service include, counselling for mental health, trauma, and abuse, and, crisis intervention and safety planning for those experiencing domestic violence or abuse.
