Solent Youth Action is a youth provision charity supporting vulnerable young people aged 10- 25 in the Southampton and Eastleigh areas. SYA empowers young people to develop as individuals, enjoy new challenges and make a positive contribution to the community through volunteering, social action and active citizenship.
A grant from Hendy Foundation is helping the charity create a youth volunteer hub on wasteland in Eastleigh.
The hub will have an outdoor kitchen, allotment, landscaping and shipping containers to store tools and create a common room.
