You Raise Me Up was founded by the late Jane Brooks and her husband Fraser in June 2011 following the sudden loss of their daughter Megan. Unable to find the support they themselves needed at this tragic time they founded the charity.
The charity offers emotional and mental health support to families that have lost a young adult between the ages of 16 and 25.
Hendy Foundation contributed towards the cost of its helpline, the first point of contact for most people needing help.
