There was some hectic bidding in this year’s Hendy Foundation Birthday Auction with more than £4,200 raised.
Prizes this year included an amazing Ford Heritage Centre experience, a culinary event with Rosemary Shrager, hospitality at Manchester United and sporting memorabilia.
Trustee Mark Busby said the generosity of so many companies had provided a great variety of money-can’t-buy auction lots which had been in high demand from the bidders.
“The auction is one of the highlights of our fundraising year and it’s always great to have such a wide range of lots for people to bid on during the auction week which is also a great way to mark the foundation’s birthday.”
