The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre is an independent charity founded in 1993 with two centres, in Crawley and Horsham in West Sussex.
It provides a range of high-quality support including complementary therapies and counselling to cancer patients, their careers and families from diagnosis, through treatment and for as long as they need support.
It provides free support, advice, friendship and therapies to thousands of people in the local area. It is a Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM) awarded centre and a recipient of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
A grant from Hendy Foundation was granted for the charity to fund student counsellors who provide valuable to support to those affected by cancer.
