The Marchwood War Memorial was established in October 1920 and for 2020 a campaign was launched to refurbish the memorial to mark its 100th anniversary. The Memorial is in need of repairs, general cleaning and re-engraving of some of the difficult to read lettering. The fundraising group also hopes to include repairs to the footpath around the memorial.
